    About the Opportunity

    Experian is hiring a Legal Manager to support its Global Innovation Centre in Hyderabad. The role primarily focuses on employment law, HR legal advisory, workplace compliance, contract management, dispute resolution, and data privacy matters.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must:

    • Hold an LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
    • Have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in an in-house legal team or a reputed law firm.
    • Possess experience in Indian employment law, HR advisory, policy drafting, employee disputes, and workplace investigations.
    • Have experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and amendments.
    • Be familiar with litigation, arbitration, mediation, legal notices, and dispute management.
    • Experience or specialization in employment law, corporate law, contract management, technology law, or data privacy will be an added advantage.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The selected candidate will:

    • Advise HR and business teams on employment law and workplace compliance matters.
    • Draft, review, and update employment policies, handbooks, HR procedures, and legal documentation.
    • Handle employee disputes, labour law matters, internal investigations, POSH-related matters, and coordinate with external counsel.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and related legal documents.
    • Provide legal advice on contractual, corporate, and regulatory matters affecting business operations.
    • Support data privacy compliance, including cross-border data transfers and data processing arrangements.
    • Manage litigation, arbitration, mediation, settlement discussions, and legal notices.
    • Conduct legal training sessions for HR, managers, and employees on employment law, workplace policies, contracts, and data privacy.
