    The High Court of Meghalaya, Shillong, is a constitutional court established in March 2013 under the Constitution of India and the North-Eastern Areas Act, 1971. 

    About the Job

    The Court is hiring for the contractual engagement of 2 Law Clerks-cum-Legal Research Assistants under the Scheme for engaging Law Clerks in the High Court.

    • LLB degree from a recognised Indian university (whether enrolled as an Advocate or not); basic computer knowledge, including legal databases such as Manupatra, SCC Online, Lexis Nexis and Westlaw
    • Age: 23–33 years as on 1st January 2026.

    Responsibilities

    Law Clerk-cum-Legal Research Assistant (Contractual, 1 year) -legal research, case law analysis, judgment drafting assistance and judicial support at the High Court of Meghalaya.
