About the Opportunity

Tipping Mr Pink Private Limited (Burger Singh) is looking for a Legal Associate (0-2 years’ experience) to join their in-house legal team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contract Drafting & Documentation:
    • Draft, review, and maintain standard commercial agreements, including
    • Franchise / licensing agreements
    • Vendor and supplier agreements
    • Lease / leave & license documentation
    • NDAs and confidentiality agreements
    • Employment and consultant agreements
    • Marketing and collaboration agreements
    • Assist in preparing amendments, addendums, notices, and renewal documentation.
    • Maintain templates and ensure version control.
  • Franchise Legal Support
    • Coordinate legal documentation for onboarding new franchisees
    • Review franchise-related KYC and entity documents.
    • Track execution of franchise agreements and payment-linked milestones.
    • Support in resolving franchisee queries on agreement interpretation and obligations.
    • Maintain franchise documentation records (digital + physical).
  • Compliance & Regulatory Support
    • Assist with compliance tracking for:
      • FSSAI;
      • Shops & Establishments;
      • Labour law documentation;
      • POSH compliance
      • Trademark renewals and IP filings;
      • State and municipal licensing requirements
    • Maintain compliance calendar and escalate deadlines.
    • Coordinate with external consultants where required.
  • Legal Notices & Dispute Management
    • Draft: 
      • Legal notices;
      • Replies to notices
      • Demand letters
      • Default notices to franchisees/vendors
    • Assist the legal team with litigation files and documentation
    • Coordinate with external advocates and collect required records.
    • Maintain dispute tracker.
  • IP Protection & Brand Monitoring
    • Assist in trademark filing/renewal coordination; 
    • Track infringement complaints and unauthorised brand use. 
    • Coordinate cease-and-desist communication
    • Maintain brand/legal asset records.
  • Internal Advisory & Cross-Functional Support: 
    • Support other stakeholders and business functions 
    • Review basic legal implications before rollout of campaigns or vendor arrangements 
    • Flag risks to the senior legal team.
  • Record Keeping: 
    • Maintain trackers for 
      • Agreements;
      • Renewals;
      • Litigation;
      • Compliance deadlines;
      • Franchise legal documentation
  • Research & Policy Assistance: 
    • Conduct legal research on:
      • Contracts;
      • Transfer of property law(s);
      • Food business regulations
      • Consumer protection;
      • Employment law;
      • Municipal requirements.
  • Assist in updating internal policies and SOPs.
