    KreditBee has raised USD 280 million in its series E fundraise round. The Series E round was led by Hornbill Capital, Motilal Oswal Alternates and Dragon Funds, with participation from existing backers Premji Invest and Advent International, alongside WhiteOak Capital and A.P. Moller Holding.

    Anoma Legal has acted for KreditBee on this fundraise. Trilegal has advised Hornbill Capital – the lead investor of this fundraise. Goodwin Procter LLP advised AP Moller Capital and Touchstone Partners acted for Motilal Oswal, Premji Invest and TPG/NewQuest. AZB & Partners guided MARS Dragon Fund, Veritas Legal advised WhiteOak Capital.

    Bharucha & Partners acted for Advent International on this fundraise. Resolüt Partners advised Archerman Capital on its secondary transaction involving Kreditbee, as part of the fundraise.

    Additionally Touchstone Partners also advised TPG NewQuest and Archerman Capital in relation to their rights as existing shareholders under the shareholders’ agreement.

    The total Series E round aggregates to approximately USD 280 million. Upon completion, KreditBee is expected to enter the unicorn club with a valuation of approximately USD 1.5 billion.

    KreditBee is a scaling technology-driven lending platform, enabling credit to millions of Indians.

    Trilegal’s corporate team advising on the matter was led by partner Abhishek Guha and supported by senior associates Pavana Padmakumar and Shreya Gokhale.
