This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the
Constitution of India seeking a declaration that the respondents
cannot continue to rely upon the land acquisition proceedings
initiated under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, in respect of the
petitioners’ lands admeasuring Ac.35.00 situated in Sy.Nos.58 and
59 of Adibatla Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Ranga Reddy
District, in view of the judgment dated 14.02.2024 passed by the
Division Bench of this Court in W.P.Nos.11613 and 14061 of 2005
and the admitted fact that no further proceedings have been
initiated pursuant to the liberty reserved therein. The petitioners
consequently seek deletion of the subject lands from the list of
prohibited properties maintained under Section 22-A of the
Registration Act, 1908 and a consequential direction to the
VRKR,J

registering authorities to receive and deal with documents
presented in respect of the subject lands in accordance with law.
