About the Opportunity
The High Court of Judicature at Bombay has invited applications for preparing a select list of 24 Judicial Research Assistants on a contractual basis for one year at Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Kolhapur benches.
Position Details

Honorarium
₹80,000/- per month (Consolidated Stipend/Honorarium)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- LL.B. graduates who passed the final LL.B. examination in the first attempt with a minimum of 55% marks
OR - Candidates possessing a Postgraduate Degree in Law (LL.M.)
Additional Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of computers/laptops and legal research software
- Age between 21–30 years on the date of application
- Preference may be given to candidates possessing LL.M. degrees
Nature of Work
Selected Judicial Research Assistants will:
- Assist Hon’ble Judges in judicial work
- Conduct legal research
- Attend court proceedings
- Prepare notes and draft memoranda
- Work on legal issues assigned by the Judge
Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview
- Interview Marks: 50
- Minimum Passing Marks: 25
- Selection will be merit-based and subject to approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice
