About the Internship :
Adv J Julius Mera Smith is looking to engage a small number of law students as remote interns to assist on ongoing litigation work.
Eligibility :
(i) Students currently enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program from a recognized university.
(ii) Basic familiarity with legal research and drafting- Ability to read files independently and adhere to timelines
(iii) Strong research and analytical skills
(iv) Good communication and drafting abilities
(v) Willingness to learn and grow
Responsibilities:
(i) Assisting in the drafting and filing of pleadings, applications, and other legal documents.
(ii) Conducting legal research and preparing case briefs.
(iii) Attending court proceedings and assisting in case preparation.
(iv) The work will involve preparation of case briefs, List of Dates, research notes, and drafting support in matters before the Supreme Court and other forums.
