Poovayya & Co. is inviting applications for its Assessment Internship Program for Batch 2027. The internship offers law students an opportunity to gain practical experience by working on high-quality legal matters under the guidance of experienced professionals.
About the Internship
The Assessment Internship Program runs between October 2026 and March 2027. Interns can choose a duration of 1–3 months, which may be split across semester breaks.
Eligibility Criteria
• Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in litigation.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist in legal research and drafting of legal documents.
• Support the legal team in preparing for court hearings and client meetings.
• Maintain and organise legal files and documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients and external parties.
• Assist with ad-hoc legal tasks and projects as required.
