Hamari Pahchan NGO is a decade-old, Delhi-based non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The organization works across key focus areas including social justice, women’s empowerment, education, and health advocacy.
Through its diverse initiatives and volunteer-driven projects, Hamari Pahchan strives to uplift marginalized communities and create sustainable, long-term impact by combining legal awareness with grassroots action.
About the Internship
This one-month online legal internship is designed for law students seeking to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application. Interns will engage with real-world legal and social issues, including education, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene, and elderly care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on legal and policy frameworks related to social justice issues.
- Draft legal awareness materials, including pamphlets, posters, and digital content.
- Develop campaign strategies and contribute to digital fundraising initiatives.
- Track legal developments and propose policy recommendations.
- Support the NGO’s pro bono legal network and outreach efforts.
- Create educational videos or short-form content to promote legal awareness.
- Learn the process of filing RTIs and contribute to advocacy reports on selected causes.
Eligibility
- Students currently pursuing LL.B. (3-year) or integrated 5-year law courses (B.A. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B.).
- Open to students from all academic years.
- Strong communication, research, and writing skills are essential.
- Demonstrated interest in public interest law, human rights, and social impact initiatives is preferred.

Stipend
This is an unpaid internship. However, outstanding performers will be awarded a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) and exclusive Hamari Pahchan merchandise.
