I have emailed them for an internship in the organization.

Reporting to HR, the infrastructure was decent, and I was really excited to be a part of the workplace.

As an intern, I was involved in legal research, drafting, proofreading, client interaction, and assisting senior counsel.

The work environment was positive and collaborative.

During my four-week internship at Uttpal Majumdar Advocates LLP, I gained hands-on exposure to civil litigation and developed a deeper understanding of various areas of law.

I worked on matters before the Kolkata High Court and local authorities, handling issues related to money laundering, municipal law, property disputes, and tenancy matters. My responsibilities included legal research, drafting pleadings, and assisting in case strategy preparation across fiscal, property, and civil disputes.

I also studied legislation such as the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and tenancy laws to support ongoing cases.

Overall, the internship provided valuable practical experience in litigation and strengthened my legal skills and understanding of court procedures.

Not any that I can recall as such. Every internship has its pros and cons, and that is what makes them unique.

    It was an unpaid internship.

I commuted from the NUJS main campus via public transport.

The High Court compound had several surrounding places of interest. Furthermore, I got to explore the vintage buildings of Kolkata.
