On the first day of my internship at the District Legal Services Authority Patiala, I completed basic formalities such as document submission and registration.

The office had a well-organized infrastructure with designated spaces for legal aid work and client interaction. My first impression was positive, as the environment was professional, and the staff was cooperative.

Main Tasks

During my internship at the District Legal Services Authority, Patiala, I was involved in analysing real client issues and understanding how legal aid is implemented at the ground level. I assisted in screening applications to identify eligibility for free legal aid and observed how authorities prioritise urgent matters.

Apart from the professional experience, this internship also gave me a chance to slow down and reflect. After work, I would usually spend time unwinding, which helped me maintain a good balance.
