First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, and First Impression
On the first day of the internship, I reported to the chamber at 9:30 a.m. and met Amarjeet Sir. After a brief introduction and an overview of the tasks lined up for the day, we went to Tis Hazari Court to attend the matters scheduled for hearing.
At the court, I had the opportunity to observe Sir present cases and argue on various points of law.
The associates had briefed us about the cases while we were on our way to the court, which helped me better understand the proceedings in the courtroom.
After the court proceedings concluded, we returned to the chamber and discussed the orders passed during the day. This was followed by a lunch break, during which all the members sat together and shared a hearty meal.
After the break, the associates and senior interns guided us through the process of case filing and familiarized us with important places such as the Facilitation Centre and the e-Sewa Kendra.
The day concluded with us reading case files and discussing legal issues with Sir.
Main Tasks
During the internship, the interns were taught everything essential for a lawyer, ranging from filling out Process Fee Forms and Certified Copy Forms to the actual filing of cases. Further, we were also taught the art of reading case files and understanding the legal concepts involved.
Sir also made it a point to discuss various legal issues and provisions, which helped in developing our legal acumen and preparing us for real-life legal scenarios.

The environment of the chamber is very positive and filled with opportunities for learning, whether related to law or life.
It also maintains a perfect balance between work and enjoyment, as every small achievement is celebrated together like a family.
