IndusInd Bank has appointed Sunil Kumar Singh as Chief Compliance Officer, effective April 30, 2026. Singh will supersede Sachin Patange, after the completion of his tenure on April 29, 2026.
“Based on the recommendation of the Compensation and Nomination & Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Bank has approved the appointment of Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh as the Chief Compliance Officer, and he shall be designated as a Senior Management Personnel of the Bank with effect from April 30, 2026,” IndusInd noted in an exchange filing.
Singh comes with over 28 years of banking experience. Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, Singh was associated with Mizuho Bank for 11 years. He was the Chief Compliance Officer of Mizuho Bank- India for 9 years from April 2015 to March 2024.
In the last two years, Singh has transitioned to a senior management role as Managing Director-II in Mizuho and was heading its GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) function in the India franchise.
Prior to Mizuho Bank, Singh has worked in Bank of America, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India.
His assignments and experience in these banks are across compliance, credit risk & credit policy, enterprise risk, corporate banking, transaction banking, trade finance, international banking, debt service management, retail banking, Basel-III/ICAAP, and operations.
