    Kavin & Sakthi, Attorneys at Law, a boutique litigation firm with an active practice before the Madras High Court and subordinate courts across Chennai, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Associate – Litigation. This opportunity is ideal for fresh law graduates seeking hands-on courtroom experience under experienced litigators.

    Position Details:
    Role: Junior Associate – Litigation
    Location: Chennai
    Practice: Madras High Court & Subordinate Courts

    Eligibility:
    • Fresh Law Graduate (LL.B./B.L.) from a recognized university.
    • Enrolled with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry (or awaiting enrolment).
    • Genuine interest in litigation, particularly High Court practice.
    • Proficiency in Tamil and English (spoken and written).
    • Ability to conduct legal research, assist in drafting, and appear before subordinate courts.
    • Candidates based in Chennai or willing to relocate will be preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist senior counsel in live litigation matters.
    • Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs.
    • Draft writ petitions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
    • Appear before subordinate courts and support High Court matters.
    • Work on cases involving constitutional law, civil litigation, property disputes, tenancy matters, and criminal law.

    Compensation:
    • As per industry standards for freshers, with structured growth based on performance and seniority.
