About the Job
Hero MotoCorp is hiring for the role of Head Legal – Litigation. The role involves managing the organisation’s litigation portfolio, legal advisory functions, compliance matters, intellectual property rights management, and legal support across business functions and manufacturing plants.

- 17+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, procedures, and legal compliance requirements

Responsibilities
- Managing the company’s litigation portfolio and reducing litigation exposure
- Contesting and handling cases filed by and against the company
- Coordinating with external advocates and reviewing legal drafts, petitions, replies, and related documents
- Reviewing and strengthening contracts in line with regulatory updates, notifications, and judicial decisions
- Managing the company’s Intellectual Property Rights portfolio, including:
- Filing registrations, renewals, and taking legal action for protection of IPRs
- Providing legal support to manufacturing plants on:
- Labour law matters
- Legal Metrology Act compliance
- PF and gratuity matters
- Industrial relations issues
- Vendor-related disputes
- Supporting departments including:
- Manufacturing
- HR
- Finance
- Commercial Marketing
- Vendor Development
- CAD
- CIT
- Advising business teams on legal risks and commercial transactions
- Conducting legal training and issuing advisories to departments
