In a significant update for judiciary and prosecution aspirants, the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced revised dates for the recruitment process for the post of Assistant District Attorney (Group-B) in the Prosecution Department, Haryana, under Advertisement No. 18/2025.
This development follows the Commission’s earlier announcement dated 12 May 2026, which revised the syllabus in compliance with the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s order dated 23 April 2026 in LPA No. 3171 of 2025 and connected matters.
As per the fresh announcement dated 21 May 2026, HPSC has decided to invite fresh applications from eligible candidates. However, candidates who had already applied under Advertisement No. 18/2025 are not required to apply again, unless they wish to update or modify details in their previously submitted application forms. In such cases, a fresh application will be necessary.
Candidates who had not applied earlier now have an opportunity to submit their applications. The online application link will remain active from 25 May 2026 to 29 May 2026 (till 5:00 PM).
The Commission has also revised the examination schedule. The Screening Test, earlier scheduled for 21 June 2026, will now be conducted on 5 July 2026, while the Subject Knowledge Test will be held on 9 August 2026.
All other terms and conditions mentioned in the original advertisement and the announcement dated 12 May 2026 shall remain unchanged.
