Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Deputy
Solicitor General of India appearing for respondent No.1, learned
Standing Counsel for NHAI appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3,
learned Government Pleader for land acquisition appearing for
respondent Nos.4 to 7, learned Government Pleader for Irrigation
appearing for respondent Nos.9 and 10 and Sri Vishnuvardhan
Reddy, learned standing counsel for Pollution Control Board
appearing for respondent No.11.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking the following prayer:-
“to issue a writ order or orders more particularly one in
the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of
the Respondents 1 to 8 in changing the alignment in
respect of lands between Armoor/Luxettipet to
Mancherial vide Gazette No.702E dated 14.02.2024 from
the earlier alignment as contained in Gazette No.1184
dated 14.03.2023 as arbitrary unreasonable and
unconstitutional being devoid of principles of natural
justice and failure to follow fair and transparent due
process of law which consequently abridges and
breaches of the Fundamental Rights of the Petitioners as
contained in Article 14, 19, 21 and 300A of the
Constitution of India and pass such other order or order
as this Hon’ble court may deem fit and proper in the
circumstances of the case and in the interest of Justice.”
