1. Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) (old
Section 439 of Cr.P.C.) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case
bearing FIR No.37 dated 15.2.2026, registered for the offences punishable
under Sections 22, 27(a) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’), at Police Station Jandiala,
District Amritsar.
2. The gravamen of the FIR in question is that the petitioner is an
accused of being involved in an FIR pertaining to NDPS Act involving
alleged recovery of 95 loose intoxicant tablets containing tramadol
hydrochloride and drug money of Rs.600/-.
