About the Job
The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal has invited applications for regular faculty positions in various law specialisations including ADR, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, Cyber Law, Gender Justice, Insurance & Banking Laws, Transport Law, Socio-Legal Studies, and more.
Appointments will be made on a regular basis in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2018 and University rules.

Eligibility
Assistant Professor of Law
Candidates must possess:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline; and
- NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.
Candidates holding a Ph.D. from eligible foreign universities ranked among the top 500 universities globally may also apply. Preference may be given to candidates possessing a Doctorate/Post-Doctorate in the relevant area.
Associate Professor of Law
Candidates must have:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
- At least 7 quality research publications
- Research score of 75 as prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018
Professor of Law
Candidates must have:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience
- At least 10 quality research publications
- Research score of 120 as prescribed under UGC Regulations, 2018
Outstanding professionals with significant contributions to the discipline and requisite experience may also be considered under the applicable UGC norms.
