About the Role

We are looking for experienced legal professionals and AI practitioners to join us as Course Developers and Teaching Faculty for our upcoming course on ‘AI for Lawyers’.

This is a high-impact, practice-oriented program designed to help law students and professionals understand, adopt, and apply AI tools in real legal work, from research and drafting to advisory, compliance, and workflow automation.

Selected candidates will:

  • Design practical, application-focused modules
  • Teach live, interactive sessions
  • Record lectures (on Zoom)
  • Create assignments, simulations, and workflows
  • Provide structured, personalised feedback

The focus is not on abstract discussions about AI, but on real-world usage, workflows, and lawyer-specific applications.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Qualifications & Experience

  • LL.B. (mandatory)
  • 3–10+ years of legal experience
  • Strong familiarity with AI tools used in legal or professional workflows

B. Practical Expertise (Must Have)

You should have hands-on experience in:

  • Using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity AI, as well as other niche or emerging tools) in real legal workflows
  • Working with India-focused or legal-specific AI tools and platforms (where applicable)
  • Applying AI across specific domains such as:
    • Contract drafting and review
    • Legal research and case-law analysis
    • Corporate and transactional work
    • IPR advisory and filings
    • Litigation strategy and documentation
  • Drafting, research, or advisory using AI-assisted, workflow-based approaches (not just one-off prompting)
  • Prompt engineering tailored to specific legal tasks and practice areas
  • Reviewing, validating, and risk-assessing AI-generated outputs (hallucination checks, legal accuracy, citation verification, etc.)
  • Integrating AI into day-to-day legal practice (law firm / in-house / independent practice), including building repeatable systems, templates, or automations

C. Pedagogical & Curriculum Skills

  • Experience in course design / workshop design
  • Ability to:
    • Break down AI concepts into practical, lawyer-friendly modules
    • Design hands-on exercises and simulations
    • Create templates, prompt libraries, and workflows
  • Prior teaching/webinar experience preferred
  • Experience with LMS platforms (bonus)

D. Teaching & Delivery Skills

  • Prior teaching / training / corporate training experience
  • Comfortable taking live online sessions (90–120 mins)
  • Ability to:
    • Teach step-by-step tool usage and workflows
    • Demonstrate live use-cases
    • Simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
    • Handle practical queries confidently

E. Soft Skills

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Content Development and Live Teaching

  • Create practical modules, recordings, and reading material
  • Develop real-world AI use-case exercises (research, drafting, review, etc.)
  • Conduct interactive live sessions (90–120 mins)
  • Demonstrate live workflows using AI tools
  • Focus on practical application over theory

2. Assignments & Feedback

  • Design hands-on AI-based legal assignments
  • Evaluate outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback
  • Help learners improve accuracy, efficiency, and judgment while using AI

Time Commitment

Live sessions are typically scheduled on:

  • Weekdays: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Sundays: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Faculty involved in live teaching are expected to adhere to the mutually agreed schedule.

Note: For faculty contributing only through recorded lectures, timelines are flexible and can be planned mutually.

Compensation

As per industry standards, based on:

  • Experience
