    Records of this case has been placed before this Court

    to consider the prayer for suspension of sentence of the

    SPONSORED

    appellant and his release on bail in connection with Sessions

    Trial No. 284 of 2021 (G.R. No.- 404 of 2021) arising out of

    Jehanabad (Kalpa O.P.) P. S. Case No. 192 of 2021 pending in

    the Court of ADJ-II, Jehanabad.

    2. Having regard to the submissions, we have heard

    learned senior counsel for the appellant on the point of release

    of the appellant on bail during pendency of the appeal.

    3. The appellant has been convicted and sentenced

    vide judgment and order dated 17.01.2024 and 24.01.2024

    respectively passed by the learned Court of the Additional

    Session Judge- II, Jehanabad in Session Trial No. 284 of 2021,
    Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.300 of 2024(12) dt.05-08-2026

    G.R. No.- 404 of 2021) arising out of Jehanabad (Kalpa O.P.)

    P.S. Case No. 192 of 2021, for the offence punishable under

    Sections 302, 201, 34, 120B of the Indian Penal Code

    (hereinafter referred to as the IPC) and both the appellants have

    been ordered to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life with

    fine of Rs. 15000/- each and in default of fine they will further

    undergo rigorous imprisonment for three months for offence

    punishable under Section 302 of IPC, to undergo rigorous

    imprisonment for 2 years with fine of Rs. 2000/- each and in

    default of fine they will further undergo rigorous imprisonment

    for one month for offence punishable under Section 201 read

    with Section 34 of IPC and to undergo rigorous imprisonment

    for 3 years for offence punishable under section 120B of IPC.

    All these sentences have been are directed to run concurrently.
