About CCG
The Centre for Communication Governance at National Law University, Delhi, was established in 2013 to ensure that Indian legal education establishments engage more meaningfully with information technology law and policy and to contribute to improved governance and policymaking.
CCG is the only academic research centre dedicated to working on information technology law and policy in India and, in a short span of time, has become a leading institution in the sector.
Scope of Work
The work involves the creation of various materials (for print and for web) relevant to the projects of the Centre. It also involves collaborating and participating in meetings with the CCG communications, community and strategy team members as well as the broader team to enable a structured and iterative approach to the design of deliverables. The intended deliverables indicatively include the following:
- Design covers for CCG publications.
- Create infographics including but not limited to flowcharts, toolkits, pie charts, and diagrams to visually translate various forms of research.
- Interactive designs with data/research.
- Design and create artwork/motifs to be used for print materials like postcards, bookmarks, stickers, etc. as well as for use in online posts.
- Design promotional materials for events related to the Centre’s projects.
- Storyboard and create short-form videos and other audio-visual content related to the projects.
- Design and create other pertinent materials such as comic strips, zines, and any other related communications and design work required at CCG.
Eligibility
Prospective applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- Portfolio: Showcase pertinent experience and accomplishments that support the deliverables mentioned above.
- Technical Proficiency: Possess a strong command of graphic design principles, proficiency in layout software, meticulous attention to detail, expertise in audio video editing, and the ability to ensure flawless formatting and styling for publications.
- Printing and Publishing Technology: Knowledge of printing and publishing technology.
- Preferred Qualifications: Should include skilled designers with the aforementioned qualifications and a proven track record of successfully delivering similar projects in the past.
Duration
The proposed timeline is a part time engagement for a period of 6 months between July and December, which is extendable based on the needs of the projects.

Remuneration
The selected candidate will be engaged on a contractual basis and paid a consolidated lump-sum remuneration based on their qualifications, experience, portfolio, and project requirements. Payment will be made on a milestone/ output basis subject to satisfactory completion of assigned deliverables and approval by CCG-NLUD.
