    3. Appellant was convicted for the offence punishable under
    Sections 120B, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC and under Section 13
    (2)
    read with Section 13 (1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act,
    1988, vide judgment and order dated 20.03.2026, passed by the court
    of learned Special Judge Anti Corruption/3rd Additional Session
    Judge, Dehradun in CBI Case No.02 of 2005 “CBI Vs. Ravindra
    Srivtastava and others
    “. Challenging his conviction and sentence,
    Appellant has filed this appeal.

    4. Learned counsel for the Appellant submits that the Appellant
    is 82 years of age and is suffering from several old age ailments. He
    further submits that the Appellant is a retired employee. He further
    submits that the co-accused has been granted bail by this Court in
    CRLA No.156 of 2026 “Sukhpal Singh Vs. Central Bureau of
    Investigation”, vide order dated 02.04.2026, and claims that it is a
    case of parity. Learned counsel for the CBI admits this fact.

    5. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case,
    the Appellant has made out a case for bail.

    6. Consequently, the bail application is allowed. Let the
    Appellant/Applicant, be released on bail, on his executing a personal
    bond and furnishing two reliable sureties, each of the like amounts to
    the satisfaction of the Court concerned.

    7. List this matter on 15.06.2026.
