About Small Industries Development Bank Of India

Established on April 2, 1990, under an Act of Parliament, it acts as the primary institution for financing small-scale industries and coordinating similar institutions.

SIDBI has invited applications for the positions of Consent Manager and Data Auditor. The roles involve handling data privacy, governance, IT audit, compliance management, and information security responsibilities within regulated financial environments.

Consent Manager
Candidates must possess:
- Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, Data Governance, Business Administration, or related fields from a recognised University/Institute
Desirable Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Law, Data Privacy, IT, or Management
- Certifications such as:
- CIPP/A
- CIPP/E
- CIPM
- DCPP
- DCPLA
- Equivalent privacy/data governance certifications
Data Auditor
Candidates must possess:
- Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Law, or Risk Management from a recognised University/Institute
Desirable Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Law (LL.B./LL.M.), or Data Governance
- Certifications such as:
- CIPP/E
- CIPP/A
- CIPM
- DCPP/DCPLA
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
- CISA
- Equivalent certifications
Experience Required
Consent Manager
- Overall 10 years of experience in managing IT applications or information risks
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in data privacy, IT audit, risk/compliance, or data governance roles
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling information security risk
Required Hands-on Experience
- Designing or managing consent management platforms or workflows
- Implementing consent artefacts across digital products or customer journeys
- Working with Legal, Compliance, IT, and Business teams
Data Auditor
- Overall 10 years of relevant experience in data privacy, IT audit, risk/compliance, or data governance roles
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT auditing
Required Hands-on Experience
- Conducting data audits, privacy assessments, or compliance reviews
- Data mapping, classification, and lifecycle governance practices
- Working with Legal, IT, Risk, and Analytics teams
Age Limit
35 Years
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in banks, NBFCs, DFIs, fintechs, or other regulated environments will be preferred.
