About the Consortium of National Law Universities
The Consortium of National Law Universities (Consortium of NLUs) is an association of National Law Universities in India responsible for conducting the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by participating NLUs.
About CLAT 2027
The Executive Committee and the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities have announced the schedule for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027. The examination will be conducted on Sunday, December 6, 2026, for admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by participating National Law Universities for the academic year 2027–28.

Candidates can submit their applications online through the official CLAT website once the application portal becomes operational on August 3, 2026.
