About the Journal
The Central University of Karnataka Journal of Legal Studies (CUKJLS) (ISSN Online: 3139-4345 | ISSN Print: 3139-4485) is a biannual, international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to legal scholarship.
The journal primarily focuses on contemporary legal issues while encouraging interdisciplinary research that establishes a clear connection with legal institutions, instruments, or related matters. It welcomes submissions from diverse branches of law, including but not limited to:
- Human Rights
- Humanitarian Law
- Intellectual Property Rights
- Environmental Law
- Public and Private International Law
- Air and Space Law
- Drone Law
- Martial Law
- Sports Law
- Fashion Law
The journal also publishes panel discussions, conference reports, case commentaries, book reviews, and analyses of legislation and public policies highlighting recent legal developments.
Interdisciplinary submissions outside the strict domain of law are also considered, provided they establish a relevant legal connection.
Please note: The journal does not publish content commenting on matters pending before any court or content that may amount to contempt of court under Indian jurisprudence.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold a doctoral degree in law.
- Have expertise in the field of law.
- Possess a good publication record in their respective area of specialization.
- Reviewers with a valid SCOPUS ID will be preferred.
Benefits
Selected reviewers will receive:
- Credit is mentioned on the journal website at the end of the volume against the titles of papers reviewed.
- Opportunity to be appointed as speakers or resource persons at the journal’s International Conclave.
How to Apply?
Interested applicants must complete the Google Form provided at the end of this post. After the submitted information has been verified, eligible applicants will be manually added to the journal management system.
Review assignments, along with login credentials and instructions for submitting reviews, will be shared via email.
