About the Journal

The Campus Law Centre – Journal for Legal and Policy Research (CLC–JLPR) is the annual journal of the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. The Journal was established to bring together the work of students, academicians, and practitioners across law and allied disciplines who believe that legal scholarship must remain critical, interdisciplinary, and open to reinvention.

About the Call for Submissions

CLC–JLPR invites original and previously unpublished manuscripts for publication in Volume 2. Authors are required to submit the full draft of their work, which will undergo an initial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review process. The selected manuscripts are tentatively scheduled for publication by March 2027.

The journal does not prescribe any specific theme. Submissions on any area of law and its interplay with policy are welcome, provided they are original, analytically sound, and engage meaningfully with contemporary legal issues.

Categories

• Articles: 5,000–10,000 words
• Comments & Notes: 4,000–6,000 words
  • Judicial Trends & Legislative Trends: 3,000–5,000 words
  • Judicial Trends must analyze significant judicial pronouncements in India from 2026.
• Legislative Trends must provide a descriptive account of key legislative developments in 2026.
• Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words (limited to books published within the last five years).

All word limits are inclusive of footnotes.

Submission Guidelines

• Co-authorship is permitted for up to three authors.
• The submission must include:
  • Full draft of the manuscript.
  • A separate cover page containing the author(s)’ details.
  • Selection of the appropriate submission category in the Google Form.

Formatting Requirements

• Font: Times New Roman
• Font Size: 12 (main text), 10 (footnotes)
• Line Spacing: 1.5 (text), single (footnotes)
• File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
• Citation Style: Indian Law Institute (ILI) Citation Style (strict compliance required)

Failure to adhere to the prescribed citation style will result in rejection.

Anonymity Requirements

To ensure a double-blind review process, the manuscript must not contain any information revealing the identity of the author(s).

The cover page should include:

• Title of the manuscript
• Name of the author(s)
• University/Organisation (if any)
• Educational Qualification
• Professional Status
• Acknowledgements (if any), not exceeding 300 words

Authors must submit their manuscripts through the designated Google Form for Volume 2.
