National Law University, Delhi (“University”) is inviting applications from meritorious and dedicated candidates for the position of Academic Fellow (Co-ordination) on a contractual basis. The details of eligibility criteria, emoluments, and other terms & conditions are given below:

Important Instructions
- Remuneration & Period of Appointment on Contract
- The selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration funded by the Center’s Programmes.
- The appointment will be for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds with the Center.
- The Academic Fellow will primarily work to assist and coordinate the work related to the ongoing course on Executive Diploma in Construction Law. This will be in addition to any other duty the University may assign to him/her.
- The Academic Fellow may also be assigned to coordinate other and similar courses being run by the University.

- Candidates must upload the following documents in serial order (in PDF format in one file) while submitting the online application:
- Resume with complete academic details (percentage of Marks/Grade in LL.B. and LL.M.), including specialization of LL.M., publications authored or co-authored, if any.
- Self-certified copy of undergraduate degree and Statement of Marks, clearly indicating date and year of graduation.
- Self-certified copy of master’s degree and Statement of Marks, clearly indicating date and year of graduation.
- Experience certificate, if applicable.
- Statement of Purpose (750 words).
- Any other document relevant to this application not already submitted above.
Selection Process:
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on an evaluation of their application contents.
- Shortlisting does not guarantee an interview or final selection.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, the details of which will be communicated separately.
Important Guidelines:
- Candidates applying for a post must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions on the last date fixed for receipt of applications. If, at any stage before or after selection, it is found that the candidate did not fulfil any eligibility condition(s) or the information furnished is false or incorrect, the candidature will be cancelled/services terminated.
- The possession of a prescribed essential qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview. The decision of the University in all matters relating to acceptance or rejection of an application, eligibility/suitability of candidates, and selection criteria shall be final and binding. No inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- The University reserves the right to withdraw this advertisement at any time without assigning any reason.
- The rules and regulations of National Law University Delhi will be applicable to the selected candidate.
- This position is contractual and shall have no claim whatsoever for regularization in the University. It shall also not carry service benefits generally admissible to regular faculty members of the University.
- The eligibility of every candidate will be determined on the basis of qualifications acquired and communicated to the office up to the last date fixed for receipt of applications. No certificate/document will be considered after the last date.
- Applications not supported with the required application fee and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials will be rejected.
- Incomplete applications, applications received without the prescribed fee, or applications received after the last date will be rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Concealment of facts or submission of incorrect information will result in cancellation of candidature in addition to legal action.
- The incumbent shall possess advanced skills, experience, and demonstrated abilities. The type of institutions served, goals achieved, research carried out, and impact made will be deciding factors in maintaining the higher standards of a national-level higher education institution.
- Candidates shall be called for interview only after due scrutiny and shortlisting of applications. Mere eligibility shall not confer any right to be called for an interview.
- The University reserves the right to withhold the post at any stage before appointment.
- Canvassing in any form may lead to cancellation of candidature. Appointment may be cancelled at any time in case of misconduct, unsatisfactory work, or if the candidate is found ineligible later.
- The appointment shall be subject to verification of antecedents.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interaction/interview for the post.
- Suppression of factual information, submission of fake documents, providing false or misleading information, or any other undesirable action by the candidate shall lead to cancellation of candidature. If detected even after appointment, the appointment shall be liable to termination forthwith.
