02. 1. Heard.
2. Pursuant to order dated 26.03.2026, the consolidated /
corrected appeal memo has been filed on 30.03.226.
3. This Criminal Appeal has been filed challenging the
Judgment dated 17.02.2026 passed by the Learned Special Judge
(Vigilance), Sundargarh in Case No. CTR No. 42/241 of 2000-16
convicting the Appellant under Section 13(2) read with Section
13(1)(d)(iii ) of the P.C. Act, 1988 and under Section
201/213/217 of the IPC and sentencing him to undergo R.I. for
two years and to pay a fine of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty
thousand), in default to undergo R.I. for four months under
Section l3(2) of P.C. Act, and sentencing him to undergo R.I. for

two months and pay a fine of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand),
in default to undergo R.I. for ten days for the offence under
Section 201 of IPC, to undergo R.I. for two months and pay a
fine of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand), in default to undergo
R.I. for ten days for the offence under Section 213 of IPC and to
undergo R.I. for one year and pay a fine of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees
one thousand), in default to undergo R.I. for two months for the
offence under Section 217 of IPC. The sentences were directed to
run concurrently.

5. Call for the scanned copy of the Trial Court Records.
6. List this case on 14.07.2026.
7. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Das, learned Standing Counsel
(Vigilance) submits that he shall file appearance memo by
06.04.2026.

8. Mr. Devashis Panda, learned counsel appearing on behalf
of the Appellant submits that he wants to withdraw the two I.As.
filed for grant of bail and stay of realization of fine during
pendency of the Appeal, as there are some typographical errors in
the I.As., in order to file better applications.

9. The prayer is allowed.
10. Both the I.As. are dismissed as withdrawn granting the
liberty as prayed for.
