Arkade Developers Ltd has accused its former Chief Sales Officer, Amita Singh, of misconduct involving the alleged diversion of customer transactions, wrongful brokerage gains and forgery of company documents, prompting the filing of an FIR and termination of her services.
In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, the Mumbai-based real estate developer said Singh was found to have indulged in irregularities, including the alleged diversion of customer transactions through certain brokerage entities and procurement of brokerage payments by misusing her official position.
The company also alleged that she secured wrongful financial gains through brokerage and vendor-related transactions.
Arkade further alleged that Singh prepared and registered agreements bearing forged signatures of one of the company’s directors in connection with transactions involving additional car parking spaces.
Based on these allegations, the company said an FIR has been registered against the former executive under Sections 318(3), 336(3), 338, 340 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
The allegations are under police investigation, and Arkade said it is extending full cooperation by providing all relevant records and documents.
The company said Singh’s employment was terminated with effect from June 17, 2026, and it has since strengthened its internal controls, compliance mechanisms and approval processes.
According to the filing, the complaint refers to an alleged wrongful financial gain of approximately ₹2 crore, although the amount remains subject to investigation by the competent authorities.
Arkade added that it does not expect the matter to have any material adverse impact on its business operations, customer commitments or financial position.
