O R D E R
1. The present Transfer Petition has been filed by the
petitioner – wife seeking transfer of the proceedings
initiated by the respondent – husband for dissolution of
marriage under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act,
1955, being HMA No. 1923 of 2023, titled Anurag Satsangi v.
Mrs. Anita Satsangi (subject-case), pending before the
Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Faridabad (Haryana)
to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Agra (Uttar Pradesh).
2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the
parties.
3. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is residing
with her aged parent at Agra and is taking care of her two-

child, and further considering that two other

proceedings between the parties, namely, M.C.No. 2449 of 2025
Reason:

pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Agra, and
complaint case No. 20544/2025 pending before the Civil Judge
(Junior Division), Fast Track Court No. 1, Agra, are also
pending at Agra, we are of the view that it would be in the
interests of justice to transfer the subject-case as prayed
for by the petitioner.
4. Accordingly, the Transfer Petition is allowed. HMA
No.1923 of 2023 pending before the Additional Principal Judge,
Family Court, Faridabad (Haryana) is transferred to the
Principal Judge, Family Court, Agra (Uttar Pradesh).
5. However, liberty is reserved to the respondent to
participate in the proceedings through video conferencing. If
such a request is made, the transferee Court shall endeavour
to facilitate the same, subject to the availability of the
requisite infrastructure.
6. The transferor Court shall forthwith transmit the entire
record of the case to the transferee Court.
7. The Registry is directed to communicate this order to the
transferor Court as well as the transferee court for necessary
compliance.

8. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
