About RGNUL Student Research Review
The RGNUL Student Research Review (RSRR) is the flagship student-run law journal of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala. It provides a platform for academicians, practitioners, legal professionals, and students to contribute to contemporary legal scholarship.
About the Theme
The forthcoming issue seeks to encourage scholarship on the institutional, procedural, and systemic dimensions of the Indian legal profession and justice system. It aims to foster discussions on ethics, accountability, legal practice, governance, legal education, judicial reforms, technology, and access to justice, while examining the evolving role of legal institutions in a rapidly changing legal landscape.
Illustrative Sub-Themes
Submissions may address topics including, but not limited to:
- Regulation and reform in the legal profession
- Technology, AI, and legal practice
- Inclusivity and access to justice
- Ethics and accountability in the legal profession
- Modernising legal education and training
- Structural reforms in the Indian judiciary
- Democratising legal punishments
Note: The above themes are illustrative. Authors may submit papers on any relevant issue aligned with the overall theme.
Submission Categories
The journal accepts the following submissions:
- Articles: 5,000 words onwards
- Case Comments: 2,000 words onwards
- Legislative Comments: 2,000 words onwards
- Book Reviews: 3,000 words onwards
- Abstract Guidelines
- Abstracts must be 200–300 words.
- They must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
- The file should be named “Name of Author(s) – RSRR Abstract Submission.”
- Selected abstracts will be invited for submission of full manuscripts.
How to Submit?
Authors must submit their abstracts through the official submission form provided by the organizers.
Deadline
- The last date to submit abstracts is December 15, 2025 (11:59 PM IST).
- The tentative deadline for submission of the final manuscript is January 31, 2026 (11:59 PM IST).
