About the Organisation
The Lokpal of India is the apex anti-corruption ombudsman institution established under the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013. The institution works to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in public administration.
The internship scheme of the Lokpal of India aims to provide students practical exposure to anti-corruption laws, governance frameworks, institutional accountability, and policy mechanisms.
About the Internship
The internship is designed to familiarize students with:
- Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act
- Prevention of Corruption Act
- Central Vigilance Commission framework
- Governance and accountability systems
- Institutional functioning of Lokpal of India
Interns will work on legal, administrative, policy, and research-related assignments under the supervision of officials of Lokpal of India.
Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to students pursuing regular undergraduate or postgraduate courses in:
- Law
- Political Science
- Public Administration
- Public Policy
- Management
- Economics
- Human Rights
- Academic Requirements
Applicants Must
- Have secured at least 75% marks/equivalent in Class 12
- UG students must have completed at least 2 years of study
- UG students must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in completed semesters/years
- PG students must have a minimum of 55% marks in graduation
Duration
- Minimum Duration: 6 weeks
- Maximum Duration: 12 weeks

Mode
- Full-time
- Offline/On-site Internship
Interns are required to attend the office on all working days.

Stipend
- ₹10,000 per month
- Paid upon successful completion of the internship
- Proportionate amount payable for part of a month
Facilities Provided
Interns shall be provided:
- Working space
- Internet facility
- Basic office support
Interns are required to bring their own laptops.
