1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special
P.P.
2. The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with
Complaint Case No. 04/2026, registered for offences punishable
under Sections 9, 17(G), 27, 29, 39 (1B), 44, 48B, 49B of the Wild
Life (Protection) Act, 1972, which is pending in the Court of learned
Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is
innocent and has committed no offence at all rather he has been
falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that there is no
independent witness with respect to recovery of the incriminating
articles. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since
23.12.2025. It is also submitted that similarly situated co-accused
persons, namely, Bahuran Singh, Ravindra Singh, Jaidev Singh and
Shivshankar Singh have already been granted bail by a co-ordinate
Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 1912 of 2026 vide order dated
13.03.2026. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the investigation

of the case and abides by all terms and conditions which may be
imposed. Hence, the petitioner may be admitted to bail.
4. Learned Special P. P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the
petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the
case, I find substance in the contentions raised on behalf of
petitioner. Therefore, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released
on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty
thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in
connection with Complaint Case No. 04/2026 with condition that
petitioner shall appear physically on each and every date during the
trial of case till its conclusion unless his physical appearance is
dispensed with for sufficient cause to the satisfaction of the learned
trial court and with further condition that petitioner shall not indulge
in tampering with the prosecution evidence or influence the
witnesses or gain over them.
