1. Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of
regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.147 dated 27.12.2025, under
Sections 21-B/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances
Act, 1985 (Sections 21-C/27-A/29 of NDPS Act added later on),
registered at Police Station Sarai Amanat Khan, District Tarn Taran.
2. The gravamen of the FIR in question is that the petitioner is an
accused of being involved in an FIR pertaining to NDPS Act involving
351 grams of heroin and ₹9300/- allegedly found in the possession of co-
accused Jora Singh, KaramjitSingh @ Manna, Gurpreet Singh @ Gora,
Baljit Singh @ Dhanna (petitioner herein), Gurlal Singh, Manpreet Singh
and Jasbir Kaur; and the petitioner has been nominated alongwith other
co-accused, in this case, on the disclosure of said co-accused Jora Singh.
