    First, fill out the enrollment form either immediately after your graduation or during your final year of LLB. Obtain the enrollment certificate by completing the form.

    Provide all relevant documents, including your 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets, along with an undertaking and a form specifying your place of practice.

    After receiving the enrollment certificate, register with the State Bar Council at the court.

    You will receive an email or notification letter inviting you to join the association. Once you receive this, you can proceed with your work.

    • Conduct thorough legal research to support pleadings and arguments, referencing statutes, case law, and legal doctrines to strengthen the case.
    • Manage the filing process meticulously, ensuring that all documents are submitted within prescribed deadlines and in accordance with court rules and regulations.
    • Attend court regularly to represent or assist senior advocates during hearings, trials, and other judicial proceedings, while observing courtroom protocols and procedures.
    • Prepare for court appearances by organizing case materials, briefing senior advocates, and anticipating potential lines of argument or judicial queries.
    • Liaise with court officials, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties to facilitate case progress and resolve procedural matters efficiently.
    • Continuously monitor case developments and update clients and senior advocates on progress, deadlines, and strategic decisions.

    The work culture is very demanding, with little time for rest during working hours. You are expected to be present throughout the day and, after attending court, spend additional time in the chambers preparing for the next day’s tasks.

    When it comes to work-life balance, weekends are typically the only time off. However, even during weekends, you are often required to prepare for upcoming court dates while managing other ongoing work.
