The Goa Judicial Services Examination is conducted under the supervision of the High Court of Bombay at Goa for the recruitment of Civil Judge Junior Division (CJJD) and Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC). It is one of the most competitive state judiciary exams, offering an opportunity to enter the judicial services in Goa.
Eligibility Criteria
(A) Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
(B) Educational Qualification
- Must hold a Degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Advocates with at least 3 years of practice,
- Minimum 55% marks in final LL.B./LL.M., OR
- Public Prosecutors / Government Advocates with 3 years’ experience, OR
- Ministerial staff / legal officers with relevant experience and law degree.
(C) Age Limit

The selection process consists of three stages:
(1) Preliminary Examination

- Purpose: Screening test only (marks not counted in final merit)
- Candidates shortlisted: 10× vacancies
(2) Main Written Examination
