Details about the Internship Opportunity

Legalis IP invites applications for its Summer 2026 Internship Programme, a selective and research-intensive internship designed for candidates who wish to engage seriously with legal research, editorial work, and policy analysis.

This is not a mass internship programme and is intended for applicants who demonstrate strong research aptitude and structured legal writing skills, aligned with Legalis IP’s “Logician Standard”—a benchmark for analytical clarity, originality, and intellectual discipline.

Eligibility

  • Students pursuing LL.B. (3-year/5-year) or LL.M.
  • Students from allied disciplines with an interest in law, policy, or technology
  • Strong research and writing skills are essential
  • Prior publication experience is desirable but not mandatory

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Legal Research Assistant

  • Conduct doctrinal and interdisciplinary research
  • Draft research notes, briefs, and analytical papers
  • Assist in policy-oriented legal writing

2. Editorial Intern (Junior Editor Track)

  • Screen and review submissions
  • Perform citation checks and structural editing
  • Assist in editorial workflows

3. Social Media & Knowledge Dissemination Intern

  • Simplify complex legal research for wider audiences
  • Assist in outreach and knowledge dissemination
  • Support academic communication initiatives

Location

  • Mode: Remote
  • Open to applicants across India and globally

Duration of Internship

  • Legal Research Assistant / Social Media Intern: 6 weeks
  • Editorial Intern: 6 months

Work Timings

  • Flexible work structure
  • Commitment: approximately 8–10 hours per week
