About the Role

We are looking for experienced legal professionals to join us as Course Developers and Teaching Faculty for our 1-Year Advanced Contract Drafting Course.

This is a high-impact, practice-oriented program designed to train law students and young professionals in real-world drafting, structuring, and advisory work across multiple domains.

Selected candidates will:

  • Design advanced, practical modules
  • Teach live, interactive sessions
  • Record some lectures on zoom
  • Create assignments, simulations, and templates
  • Provide structured, personalised feedback

The focus is not theory, but clause-by-clause practical mastery.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Qualifications & Experience

  • LL.B. (mandatory)
  • 3–10+ years of hands-on contract drafting experience
  • Strong exposure to commercial / corporate / transactional work

B. Practical Expertise (Must Have)

You should have real-world experience in:

  • Drafting and negotiating advanced agreements  (the list is given above)
  • Advising clients on contract structuring
  • Handling end-to-end transactions:
  • Working on real client mandates

C. Pedagogical & Curriculum Skills

  • Experience in course design / workshop design
  • Ability to:
    • Break theory into applied modules
    • Create simulations
    • Design practical assignments
    • Create compliance checklists & templates
  • Prior teaching/webinar experience preferred
  • Experience with LMS platforms (bonus)

D. Teaching & Delivery Skills

  • Prior teaching / training / corporate training experience
  • Comfortable taking live online sessions (90–120 mins)
  • Ability to:
    • Teach clause-by-clause drafting
    • Communicate and present efficiently 
    • Take practical case discussions
    • Answer queries confidently

D. Soft Skills

  • Structured thinking
  • Clear writing skills
  • Ability to simplify statutory complexity
  • Deadline discipline

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design advanced contract drafting assignments
  • Provide detailed, structured feedback

Time Commitment

  • Live sessions are typically scheduled on:
    • Weekdays: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
    • Sundays: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Faculty involved in live teaching are expected to strictly adhere to the mutually agreed schedule
  • Note: For faculty contributing only through recorded lectures, there is no fixed time-slot requirement, and timelines can be planned with mutual flexibility. 

Compensation

  • As per industry standards, based on:
    • Experience
    • Domain expertise
    • Session involvement
  • Additional honorarium for assignment evaluation, if undertaken
