1. Impugned in this petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution
of India, is an order and judgment dated 28.07.2022 passed by the
Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench Srinagar at Jammu [“the
Tribunal”] in OA No. 276/2019 titled “Premu vs. Union of India and
Others”, whereby the Tribunal has allowed the OA filed by the
respondent and held him entitled to the benefit of rounding up of his
disability pension w.e.f. 01.05.2008.
2. Briefly stated, the facts leading to the filing of this petition are that
the respondent was enrolled in the Indian Army on 19.09.1973 and
was discharged on completion of his service on 30.09.1997 in the
Rank of Havildar.
