About the Opportunity
Peritum Partners is looking to expand its Real Estate Practice and is seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate to join its team in Chennai. This position involves active exposure to title due diligence, drafting and registration, leasing, leave & licence, and commercial contracts, among others. The selected candidate will be expected to work well in a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct title due diligence for real estate transactions.
- Draft and manage registration of property-related documents.
- Handle leasing and leave & licence matters.
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, among others.
- Collaborate effectively as part of the team.
Eligibility Criteria
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Strong interest in and working knowledge of real estate law
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to read and write Tamil is a must
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
