    Mr. B.D. Das, learned senior counsel representing the petitioner, on
    instructions submits that the petitioner at this stage is satisfied with the steps
    taken by the investigating authority and the progress of the investigation in
    Hallidayganj P.S. Case No. 06/2026 u/s 103(1)/3(5) BNS, 2023. He submits
    that the petitioner by a representation dated 24.07.2026 also has furnished
    some additional information to the Officer-in-Charge, Hallidayganj Police
    Station with regard to the above case. He, thus, submits that the petitioner at
    this juncture would not like to press this writ petition and prays for permission
    to withdraw the same with liberty to approach this Court in the event there
    arises any future grievance in relation to the investigation of the case.

    Ms. R. Colney, learned GA appearing for the State-respondents has no
    objection to the prayer made.

    In view of the above, this writ petition stands closed on withdrawal with
    liberty as prayed for.
