About the Organizers
Advocacy (CCA) of SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai. The institution functions under the aegis of SVKM, a reputed educational trust in India. The Centre aims to promote awareness, research, and advocacy in the field of consumer rights and protection.
Details of the Event
As part of Consumer Week 2026 (scheduled from 14 th to 22 nd March 2026), the Centre is organizing a National Legal Opinion Drafting Competition. The event focuses on enhancing participants’ legal reasoning, analytical abilities, and drafting skills in consumer law.
The problem revolves around an insurance dispute involving issues such as contract formation, deficiency in service, and liability under consumer law.|
Eligibility
The competition is open to students currently pursuing a law degree from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Fee Details
There is no registration fee for participating in this competition.
Prizes
- Winner: ₹2000 + Certificate of Merit
- Runner-up: ₹1500 + Certificate of Merit
- Second Runner-up: ₹1000 + Certificate of Merit
- All participants will receive a participation certificate
