About CNLU
Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) was established in 2006 with the objective of serving society through high-quality legal education and legal awareness. The university has earned a pan-India reputation for legal research and education and regularly organizes conferences, capacity-building programs, and guest lectures in collaboration with statutory bodies, think tanks, educational institutions, law firms, and trade associations.
About CARCIL
The Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL) is a Centre of Excellence at CNLU that promotes research in corporate law, corporate governance, insolvency, and allied areas. The Centre undertakes research projects and organizes academic workshops, lectures, conferences, and faculty development programs to contribute to the advancement of corporate and insolvency laws in India.
About the Conference
The 4th CNLU–CARCIL National Conference on Securities Laws builds upon the success of its previous editions and provides a platform to deliberate on contemporary developments in India’s securities and capital markets framework, including regulatory trends, market dynamics, investor protection, and emerging challenges.
The conference will be conducted in two phases:
- Phase I: Submission of original and unpublished research papers along with the initial registration fee. The top 8 papers will be shortlisted.
- Phase II: Shortlisted participants will present their papers before expert panels during the on-campus conference on September 3, 2026.
The Conference aims to assess research aptitude, analytical ability, and legal reasoning in the field of securities and capital markets law. Prizes and other recognitions will be awarded.

Eligibility
The conference is open to
- Students from recognised law and management universities
- Academicians
- Practicing lawyers
- Subject matter experts interested in securities laws and allied themes
Submission Guidelines
- Abstract should not exceed 350 words and must be included in the manuscript.
- Manuscript should be 3,000–5,000 words (excluding footnotes and references).
- Citation style: Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st Edition).
- Maximum of two authors per submission.
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and written in English.
- Similarity index must not exceed 10% after applying appropriate filters.
- Authors must not mention their names or institutional affiliations in the manuscript.
- Simultaneous submissions are not permitted.
- Registration fee payment is mandatory for all authors.
- Participants must submit the registration form and select a preferred theme.
