The conference will be held on campus on September 3, 2026, as part of the CNLU–CARCIL National Corporate Fest 2026.

    About the Conference

    The 4th CNLU–CARCIL National Conference on Securities Laws, 2026, is being organised as part of the CNLU–CARCIL National Corporate Fest 2026. Building upon the previous editions, the conference will provide a platform for participants to engage with contemporary developments in India’s securities and capital markets framework. The conference will facilitate discussions on regulatory trends, market dynamics, investor protection and emerging challenges in securities law. It will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, participants must submit original and unpublished research papers within the prescribed timeline and pay the applicable initial registration fee.

    Based on the evaluation of the submissions, the authors of the top eight papers will qualify for the final phase. The shortlisted participants will present their papers before expert panels during the on-campus stage and participate in discussions on contemporary issues concerning securities and capital markets law. The offline paper presentations are scheduled to be held on September 3, 2026.

    Eligibility

    The conference is open to:

    • Students from recognised law and management universities
    • Research scholars
    • Academicians
    • Practising lawyers
    • Subject matter experts having an interest in securities laws and related themes

    Submission Guidelines

    • The abstract must not exceed 350 words.
    • The abstract must be included in the manuscript at the time of final submission.
    • The full manuscript must be between 3,000 and 5,000 words, excluding footnotes and references.
    • The prescribed citation style is Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, 21st Edition.
    • Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of two authors.
    • The manuscript must be original and unpublished.
    • The manuscript must be written in English.
    • The similarity index must not exceed 10% after applying the necessary filters.
    • The authors will be solely responsible for the accuracy of the facts, opinions and views stated in the manuscript.
    • The manuscript must not be submitted elsewhere while it is under review.
    • The names of the authors or their institutions must not be mentioned anywhere in the body of the submission.
    • Payment of the registration fee is mandatory for all authors.
    • Participants must complete the registration form and select their preferred topic or theme from the proposed themes.

    Formatting Guidelines

    • The manuscript must be written in Times New Roman, font size 12.
    • The main heading and sub-headings must be in font size 14.
    • The manuscript must have 1.5 line spacing.
    • The body of the manuscript must be justified.
    • The main heading and sub-headings must be centre-aligned.
    • Footnotes must be written in Times New Roman, font size 10.
    • Footnotes must have single-line spacing and justified alignment.
