About the Organisation

Bennett University, established in 2016 by the Times Group, has over 187 years of experience in media and public service. Accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC, it is recognised by the University Grants Commission, Association of Indian Universities, and Bar Council of India.

The School of Law offers integrated and postgraduate legal programmes and emphasises advocacy, public policy, and contemporary teaching methods.

The conference is organised by the Centre for Forensic Science, an academic and research initiative at the School of Law focused on the nexus of forensic science, legal practice, and criminal investigation.

About the Conference

The 3rd International Conference on Forensic Science, Law, and Criminal Justice will be held from 15 to 17 September 2026 in hybrid mode.

It aims to bring together scholars, forensic experts, legal professionals, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss present developments in forensic investigation, legal evidence, criminology, and crime prevention.

The conference encourages interdisciplinary collaboration to strengthen criminal justice systems and utilise scientific knowledge for fair and evidence-based justice administration.

Submission Guidelines

Abstract:

• Maximum 500 words providing an overview of the proposed paper
• Use OSCOLA citation style
• Include author name(s), designation, affiliation, email address, and contact details
• Include up to five keywords
• Submit only in .doc or .docx format

Full paper:

• 5,000–6,000 words using OSCOLA citation
• Include the abstract and complete author details
• Main text: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10-point font, single spacing
• Original and unpublished work; maximum permissible plagiarism is 10%
• Submit only in .doc or .docx format

• No registration charge for Bennett University faculty, scholars, and students

Publication in the Scopus-indexed Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology (IJFMP), where selected, carries a separate charge of INR 10,000 per paper.

Selection Process

• Acceptance of abstracts communicated by email
• Selected authors must pay registration fees to confirm participation
• At least one author must attend and present in case of co-authored papers
• Selected papers may be considered for publication in IJFMP, edited books with ISBN, or conference proceedings with ISBN
• Submission does not guarantee acceptance, presentation, or publication
