About the Event
Without effective implementation strategies, even a well crafted policy becomes a mere piece of paper. The competition stems from this very thought of implementing the policy of legal aid in such a manner that it is able to achieve its intended goal. The competition highlights schemes as quintessential means of ensuring access to legal aid to citizens.
This competition creates an opportunity for the budding lawyers and future policy makers:-
- to delve into the intricacies of scheme drafting and hone their problem solving skills;
- to utilize such platform and work on their practical, analytical and critical thinking; and
- by diverging the scheme drafting from being an esoteric concept of the government officials into an encouraging topic for youth discussions.
