About the Event
Moot Court is a cornerstone extracurricular activity at Saveetha School of Law. The College firmly believes that-mooting offers law students an unparalleled pathway to sharpen their legal acumen, drafting skills, and oral advocacy.
YAAZHI” stands as a testament to the spirit of unity and excellence in sports, embodying the theme “Citius, Altius, Fortius, Communiter – Go Faster, Aim Higher, Become Stronger, Stand Together.” This event not only celebrates physical prowess but also emphasizes the collective strength that emerges when individuals strive for greatness together.
The theme “Citius, Altius, Fortius, Communiter” draws inspiration from the Olympic motto, urging participants to push their limits not just individually but in harmony with their peers. Yaazhi Moot Court Competition – 2nd Edition – continues this legacy by bringing together the finest legal minds from across the country under one roof. This event values that this competition seeks to embody and inspire.
Eligibility
- The Competition is open to Students currently enrolled in 3 year or 5 year LLB DegreeCourses recognised by the BCI.
Institutional Limits: - A team must consist of members from only one institution.
- The maximum number of teams from any single institute is restricted to 3.
Team Composition: - Minimum size: 2 Members (both act as speakers, 1 must also perform the role of researcher).
- Max size: 3 Members (2 Speakers & 1 Researcher)
Substitutions: No member changes are allowed after the registration deadline without express permission from the organisers under extenuation circumstances.

- The final deadline for Memorial submission as Hard copy: 23rd March 2026.
