Streaming giants Netflix announced the drop of ‘WWE: Unreal Season 1’, a look behind the curtain that divides wrestling superstars and fan, on Wednesday with the brand new show set to debut on the 29th of July.
The show promises to give viewers a glimpse into the WWE writer’s room, production meetings and an opportunity to step outside the ring with the wrestlers.

“For the first time ever, step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with your favorite WWE Superstars, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight,” Netflix’s caption on social media platform Instagram read.
The show is set to be a series of five episodes, each with a runtime of around 50 minutes.
Multiple big-names including former American football star Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Ken Rodgers, Jessica Boddy, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, and Marc Pomarico have united to produce the one-of-a-kind show set to feature on the OTT platform.
The Stamford-based company took a giant leap in their pursuit of becoming the biggest name in global wrestling history by taking their broadcast rights to the OTT giant with a dream of a wider reach than ever before registered. The company has gone on to air its flagship event Wrestlemania on Netflix under the tie-up in addition to other pay-per-view events they WWE boasts of. The development of storylines have been handled meticulously to suit a wider array of audience than previously ventured as the global shift of sentiment in terms of engagement transcend hitherto acclimatized boundaries.
