“If you find yourself in a dark time, know that this is just a stage or a season that will eventually come to an end”

Remaining positive and happy is not always possible, especially if you find yourself in a dark space. You may have lost your job or may have just got out of a relationship: feeling sad and depressed can take a toll on your mental and physical health.

Here are a few ways to cope with depression.

One: learn about depression

Anyone can practice mindfulness at any time, but some people may find it helpful to begin by using an app or attending a class.
